Point. Shoot. Done.

Getting solid video and photography of equipment is a challenge for most manufacturers – especially when it envolves unique applications. So, when Loftness found a customer who had the equipment, jobsite and a story to tell, they needed to make the absolute most of the opportunity.

We sent a two-person team to southern Minnesota to conduct a half-day video and photo shoot with TreeStory, a vegetation management and land clearing contractor that uses two Loftness products – a Battle Ax S Series mulching head and Kwik-Trim tree trimmer.

Beyond capturing footage of both machines, we also conducted an on-site interview to get the story about how Loftness equipment helped TreeStory become more efficient in right-of-way vegetation management.

To make the most of the short window of time, one person focused on taking photos while the other captured drone video and additional footage. We also adopted a more “run-and-gun” approach rather than setting up shots, enabling us to record more assets in less time.

The results proved extremely valuable for Loftness. In just four hours, they now had several application photos and videos that could be used for multiple assets over the next year. And the on-site interview was turned into a print case study for the sales team and a video case study that garnered more than 55,000 views with its first social post.
